  • Coaching/teaching
  • Group dynamics and management
  • Advanced relationship management skills
  • Health and safety
  • Previous coaching in any sport
  • Playing the particular sport that you are coaching

Depending on the level of coaching, a qualification may be required

  • Coaching at a higher level
  • Regional sports trust or regional sports organisation coach development role
